Vegetables and Fruits Washing Tip of the Day

Mix four cups of warm water with two tablespoon of salt and allow the mixture to cool. Once the mixture ha s cooled down soak fruits and vegetables in it for 30-60 minutes before washing it with cold water and scrubbing it to remove dirt, germs and pesticides from these. However, do not soak fragile fruits like berries for that long rather consider giving these a cold wash and just a little scrub.
