Who says Pakistani foods lack taste or quality? If you also harbor this notion then Shan Foods Pakistan has already proved you wrong long before. Shan Foods in the year 2011 went onto win the “Superior Taste Award” from International Taste and Quality Institute, Brussels.
However, the distinctive factor associated with this award was that hundreds of companies from 80 countries were evaluated. However, Shan Food with their quality and taste clean swiped the competition as 14 of their products went onto receive this award.
No doubt quality is what matters the most and while many tend to think that marketing and promotion are all what is required to make the product a success, Shan Foods have gone on to prove this wrong. Shan Foods since their launch have abided by the highest religious and cultural norms as far as their advertisement and marketing strategy is considered. The striking thing about the winning moment was when the owner Sikandar Sultan was invited on stage to collect the award. It was indeed a proud moment for Pakistan when the Shan foods owner chose to dress like Quaid-e-Azam wearing sherwani and Jinnah Cap while his wife wore a Fatima Jinnah style gharara reflecting their culture, values and roots.
Even years after emerging as winners at the prestigious award Shan Foods continue to tread the path of the quality and values they are known for. Today, Shan Food is being exported to over 65 countries which make Shan Food the largest exporter of packed food, spices and rice mixes. Locally Shan Foods have started to introduce new product lines in their food range.
Here is thanking Shan Foods for making us proud as a nation and associating our food products with quality.
